What is small group training?

Small group training is a more personalized alternative to a large group fitness class. Sessions are intentionally capped so each person receives coaching, form feedback, modifications, and support while still benefiting from the energy and accountability of training with others.

At Tapp Into It Fitness Studio, small group training is designed to help you build strength, improve confidence, and stay consistent in a supportive, structured environment.

Is this a class or personal training?

Small group training falls somewhere between the two.
It is more structured and individualized than a typical fitness class, but more affordable and community-based than 1:1 personal training. You will still receive coaching, exercise modifications, and attention to form, but you will train alongside a small group with equipment not typically offered in class sizes such as barbell training, leg press/hack squat, double pulley cable machine and more.

How many people are in each session?

Small group sessions are limited to a small number of participants so the training can stay efficient, safe, and personalized. Most sessions will have up to 4 people.

Because space is limited, spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis through Vagaro.

Do I need to be experienced to join?

No. You do not need to be advanced or experienced to join small group training.

Each session can be modified based on your current fitness level. The goal is not to keep up with everyone else. The goal is to train well, progress safely, and build consistency.

What types of workouts will we do?

Small group training focuses primarily on strength training. Sessions may include lower body, upper body, full body strength, core work, conditioning, mobility, and accessory exercises.

Each session may include a listed training focus, such as lower body, upper body, or full body, to help you understand what to expect and plan the rest of your training week. However, you do not need to choose sessions based on muscle group. The programming will rotate throughout the week, so you can simply book the time that works best for your schedule and the workout structure will be handled for you.

How do I book a session?

All small group sessions are booked through Vagaro.

If you want to be guaranteed a spot, it is best to book as early as possible. If a session fills, you may be able to join the waitlist.

Recurring spots may be available depending on schedule and availability. If you are interested in locking in a consistent time, please reach out as soon as possible.

What is the cancellation policy?

Clients are responsible for managing cancellations and schedule changes through Vagaro.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so through Vagaro rather than texting. This keeps the schedule accurate and allows waitlisted clients the opportunity to book if a spot opens.

Late cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to the cancellation policy listed at booking.
