The Tapp Into It Fitness Studio grand opening was a long time coming—even though, in some ways, it all happened incredibly fast.
I’ve been training full-time in this space since June 3. It was a strong push and process to finish, but you know what they say: diamonds are made under pressure.

After almost four months of functioning, building, adjusting, and growing in the studio, it was finally time to pause and celebrate what we created.
We kicked off the morning the only way that felt appropriate—with a workout! I put together a big circuit that allowed everyone to experience the different training spaces and equipment.
We had two stations inside the garage using the SkiErg, RowErg, bike, landmine, and other pieces from the cardio spaces. From there, everyone ventured into the driveway for three more stations featuring medicine balls, heavy dumbbells, and sled pushes—or a sled ride in Jimmy’s case.

The fun part was getting everyone upstairs into the official studio space. They tried band-assisted pull-ups, cable face pulls, seated cable rows, the hack squat machine, and TRX triceps extensions.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Justine workout unless we ran a little long and everyone was full-on dragging themselves through the finish. Right?
Once the workout was over, I said a few words from my very official stage—also known as the back deck. Seeing the pictures of that moment is honestly so cool. When I’m standing in front of people, I feel like a ramblin' man who doesn’t even know what the hell she’s saying. Somehow, though, I think the message gets across. Lol.

What I wanted everyone to know was how genuinely grateful I am. This studio would not exist without the people who have supported me, trained with me, trusted me, encouraged me, and followed me through every transition along the way.
Most importantly, I wanted to recognize Whitney. She played such a huge role in making this entire thing happen. This studio is possible with her help and through both of our hard work, sacrifices, problem-solving, and belief that we could turn this space into something special.
Afterward, everyone mixed, mingled, and ate very well thanks to Whitney’s breakfast burritos, protein banana bread, protein cookies, and fresh fruit. We also had coffee, mimosas, and—according to what I heard—a very strong margarita mixed by Danielle Spencer. 😂
I was also surprised with flowers and cards, which was incredibly sweet and thoughtful. We even got incredibly lucky with the weather. A light, cooling mist came through during the workout, but nothing that could stop us. That being said, I was outside at 5:30 that morning squeegeeing the driveway after the overnight rain, trying to get it as dry and safe as possible before everyone arrived. Just another glamorous moment in small-business ownership!

When the day was over, though, I actually left feeling a little unsure. I felt like I hadn’t gotten the chance to truly catch up with everyone who came. I was so busy running around, leading the workout, speaking, answering questions, and trying to make sure everything went smoothly that I worried I hadn’t spent enough time with each person.
Then I saw the pictures.
I saw people laughing, talking, working out, eating, and connecting with one another. That’s when I realized it wasn’t really about whether I personally had a long conversation with every single person. It was about bringing everyone together and creating the space for those connections to happen.
That is one of the things I love most about what I do. I get to be the facilitator for all of y’all’s connections. I may be the common link that initially brings people into the same space, but then friendships are created, workout partners are found, and an entire community grows around it. That means so much more to me than simply filling a room.
Building community has always been at the heart of Tapp Into It Fitness, and it will continue to be a huge part it.
Speaking of what’s next, the Fall 2026 Eight-Week Challenge begins October 26! Don’t worry—I’ll be blasting y’all with all the details once October arrives. This will be our next big community driver, and any and all are welcome to join us.

Expect workouts, accountability, fun outings, new connections, and plenty of opportunities to spend time together outside the studio too.

If I didn’t get to see you at the grand opening, please know that I still appreciate every kind word, message, share, referral, and bit of support. This celebration was about so much more than one morning. It represented every person who has helped Tapp Into It Fitness grow into what it is today.
The studio may officially be open, but this is still only the beginning. I can’t wait to keep bringing people together—inside and outside this space—and creating even more reasons for our community to gather.
Thank you for helping me celebrate. I’m so excited for everything still to come.
